Thank you very much for your patronage of Biwako Hotel.
On the morning of Sunday, March 8th, 2026, in conjunction with the Biwako Marathon 2026, the roads around the Biwako Hotel, from Shimanoseki Nishi to Yumihama, will be completely closed to traffic from approximately 8:00 a.m. until around 9:30 a.m.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, as detailed below, and kindly ask for your understanding.
■By car
From approximately 8:00a.m. until around 9:30a.m., vehicles may not be moved in or out of the hotel car park.
■By free shuttle bus
All services during the 8 o’clock hour and two services during the 9 o’clock hour will be suspended. Services will commence at the Biwako Hotel at 9:45a.m. and from JR Otsu Station at 9:55a.m.

■On foot
Please use the “Hamaotsu Sky Cross” overpass (5 min. walk to Keihan
Railway Biwako Hamaotsu Station, 15 min. walk to JR Otsu Station).
