    I am planning to get to the hotel by car. Do you have a parking lot?

    Yes, we have a parking lot for 155 vehicles on the hotel’s 1st floor. Parking is free for staying guests, and no reservation is required except on special days.

    Is there a DVD player in the guest room?

    We lend them out for free. Please make your request at the time of your room booking. Please be advised that we may not be able to accommodate your request depending on availability

    Can I connect to the Internet from my room?

    You can use our free Wi-Fi if you bring a personal computer, tablet device, smartphone, etc. with a built-in wireless LAN. Simply enter the password (security code) for easy access.

    Are yukatas provided in the guest room?

    Yes. We have large (121 cm and above) and small (120 cm and below) for children. Please make your request at the time of your room booking. Please be advised that we may not be able to accommodate your request depending on availability Yukatas may only be worn on the 4th floor natural hot springs (public bath), 5th floor Japanese banquet hall, and guest room floors.

    How much are baby beds?

    We lend them out for free. (Size: 120 x 94 cm; can be used by children up to 2 years of age) Please make your request at the time of your room booking. Please be advised that we may not be able to accommodate your request depending on availability.

    Do you have barrier-free rooms?

    One twin is available (5th floor; up to 2 guests). The bathroom has a sliding door, and there are handrails in the restroom and bath.

    Can I choose the floor and location of the room?

    You can request them at the time of your booking. We will try to make arrangements as requested but may not be able to accommodate your request depending on availability.

    What time is check-in and check-out?

    Check-in starts at 3:00 p.m. and check-out is until 12:00 p.m. There is no limit on the check-in time. However, please contact us in advance if your arrival time will be delayed or if you will be arriving after 8:00 p.m.

    Please inform staff in advance if you have any food allergies and consult if you have any concerns. We will do our best to accommodate your needs as much as possible so that you can enjoy a worry-free dining experience.

    Do you have chairs for small children at your restaurants?

    Yes, we do. We recommend reserving children’s chairs as numbers are limited.

    Do you have restaurants that allow children?

    All of our restaurants are open to children. Buffet-style Restaurant THE GARDEN is especially popular for guests with children, but Dining Sai and Japanese Cuisine OHMI also have private rooms for carefree dining. Please see details on our restaurant page.

    Do you have smoking seats?

    All of our restaurants are smoke-free.

    Do you have restaurants that serve breakfast?

    Restaurant THE GARDEN offers a buffet breakfast with mainly Western-style menu items.
    Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (Please arrive by 9:45 a.m.)

    Which restaurants are wheelchair-accessible?

    All of our restaurants are accessible.

    Are reservations required at the restaurants?

    As seats may be fully occupied, reservations are recommended, especially by online booking. If you’d like to book by phone, please call 077-524-1225 (Restaurant Reservations from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and inform us of your desired restaurant, menu, dining date, and more.

  • Is there a pool at the hotel?

    Yes, we have an outdoor garden pool open in the summer.

    Can we eat and drink at the poolside?

    Please refrain from bringing in food and drinks. Drinks and light meals are available for purchase at the pool café. (Café menus include beef curry, yakisoba stir-fried noodles, fried chicken, grilled rice balls, draft beer, and soft drinks.)

    Can we rent deck chairs and parasols?

    Yes, these are available for free. The number in stock is limited, so they will be available on a first come, first served basis.

    Do you have rental bath towels?

    Yes, they can be rented for 100 yen per towel. (Please do not use the guest room towels at the pool.)

    Do you have pool lockers?

    Yes, they are located in the men’s and women’s dressing rooms. It costs 200 yen per use per day.

    Yes, copies can be made at the 2nd floor Front Desk for 10 yen (tax separate) per copy.

    Yes, accepted credit cards are JCB, VISA, DC, UC, MC, AMEX, SAISON, OMC, Takashimaya Card, APULAS, LIFE, NICOS, Central Finance, AEON, e-kenet, and Persona Card. Accepted mobile payments are PayPay, Alipay, and WeChat Pay.

    Yes, we have Ruri Onsen Ruri-no-Yu on the 4th floor. It is open to guests staying at the hotel and using our restaurant and hot springs package or the hot springs option for banquets.

    Is there a parking fee?

    Yes, parking costs 330 yen for 30 minutes. In-house guests are issued a free parking voucher. You will receive a parking pass when you park. Please present the pass at the front desk. Other service vouchers are issued for other hotel facilities. Please ask the staff at each facility to find out what type of service voucher it is.

    Is the hotel wheelchair-accessible?

    Yes, wheelchair access is generally possible inside the hotel. A restroom designated for wheelchairs is available next to the shop on the 2nd floor. We also rent out wheelchairs for use inside the hotel. Please request a wheelchair at the bell desk on the 2nd floor. As the number in stock is limited, a reservation is recommended.

    What is the nearest expressway interchange to the hotel?

    The Otsu Interchange on the Meishin Expressway is nearest. It takes approximately 5 minutes by car from the Otsu Interchange to the hotel.

    How can I get to the hotel from the nearest train station?

    A free shuttle bus from JR Otsu Station is in operation at 15-minute intervals from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Please see the transportation information for details.
    On foot, it takes approximately 10 minutes from the JR Otsu Station and 5 minutes from the Keihan Biwako-Hamaotsu Station.
