The god of victory and happiness
Affectionately known as “Tarobo-san”, Tarobo Shrine is located on the hillside of Mt. Akagami at an altitude of 350 meters. Founded about 1,400 years ago, the shrine is said to bring luck at winning, ward off evil, give you good luck, and make business prosper. The precincts are lit up during the Sennichi Taisai Festival held in July. A popular experience is hearing a lecture by Shinto priests and shrine maidens and making your own Omamori charm.
